Asking God to Kindle Fire in Us.
“Seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
Matthew 9:36-38 NASB
Kindle is a response to the longing of Jesus. A compassionate reply to the issues of our day. With confident hope, we pray, “Lord send us,” trusting that the remedy for distress in our world is a community living on God-given assignment, filled with the power of Holy Spirit, and the tender heart of Jesus.
Kindle is a diverse community that activates the dreams that Jesus has planted in each person’s heart by helping discover identity, discern calling, and empower obedience.
Sparks fly when people gather with hearts and hands ready to be sent into the harvest. God is doing something new and authentic among this group. We call it ‘Kindle’ because we have been ignited by Jesus or are desperate to become lit.

Anyone eager to encounter Jesus is welcome, including friends and kiddos. Jesus said, "let the little children come to me" so instead of childcare we encourage families and kids to join in this time together as we demonstrate authentic faith in action to a new generation of Jesus followers.
